Grey Handleless Kitchen in St Albans

For this project in St Albans, the clients envisioned more than just a kitchen—they wanted to create a space that brought their family and friends together.

With a large extended family, the clients wanted a kitchen that offered plenty of room to prepare meals while still being able to interact with family and guests. The open layout flows naturally into the adjoining snug and family area, and we added warm wood cladding storage and a TV unit to create a seamless connection between the cooking and living spaces. It’s now the perfect space for hosting and spending quality time together.
Designed around our Riva range in Concrete Terra Grey, this kitchen exudes a sophisticated, modern aesthetic. The dark, moody tones of the cabinetry create a striking visual impact, while the concrete-effect finish adds a raw, industrial charm.
The 30mm Orinoco Mirage granite worktop, sourced from Algarve, is a focal point with its swirling, deep-toned patterns. This unique granite adds a luxurious touch, blending seamlessly with the darker cabinetry, while its durability ensures that it stands up to the demands of a busy household.
The kitchen is equipped with a high-performance mix of appliances, including AEG, Bora, and Caple. These carefully selected appliances ensure that the kitchen not only looks stunning but also functions at the highest level for an Indian household that loves to cook large meals for family gatherings.
Special features of this kitchen include a large larder-style storage unit that is home to their microwave and other small appliances to keep the kitchen worktops clutter-free and another matching unit that opens up as a bar, the perfect party essential.
Including the Blanco sink and Quooker tap adds convenience and efficiency, which is essential for this busy space.
Storage was a critical aspect of this project, with ample cabinetry and cleverly designed spaces to ensure everything had its place.
