Technical Features
As a German supplier, Nobilia have always been at the forefront of integrating technology into their kitchen designs. There are so many features that we don't have room for here (including some very cool remote controlled lighting), but here are a few of the features we're enjoying right now:
An extractor designed to work with a hob built into your kitchen island. Sleek, discreet, and effective.
Handy slot to hold your iPad, with integrated charging (there are lots of charging options that include a direct USB port in the new brochure, perfect for any high-tech kitchen). Watch TV while you cook, or use it as a hands-free recipe display.
Pop-up plug sockets and charging ports (these are obviously the European model, they'd be UK plugs over here of course), with that USB connector we mentioned...
Clever Storage
We love how Nobilia integrates storage into every nook and cranny of every kitchen. There are the usual, exceptional options, like deep drawers, slim drawers, pantries, and more. But we also love these storage features:
Stacking drawers of different depths, in a slimmer width than you often see
An ingenious under-sink drawer that'll keep all of your cleaning supplies and spare carrier bags neat and tidy.
Storage designed specifically for your baking trays - no more having them clatter about or take up valuable space. We love this!
A more rustic storage option - which goes to show that not everything Nobilia has to be ultra-modern. These would fit beautifully into a country-kitchen design.
